Built by operators, trusted at the highest levels and proven in the field

We build sophisticated tools across the security spectrum, from offensive testing and wireless counter-surveillance to secure compute and incident response, that help teams move faster, protect what matters, and stay ahead of threats. Our philosophy is simple: we don't replace human expertise, we amplify it.

Founded to close the gap

Founded by Security Experts

VTEM Labs was founded by veteran penetration testers turned software, firmware, and hardware engineers who saw a critical gap in offensive security delivery. They were frustrated by outdated processes, convoluted tools, inconsistent delivery models, and predatory pricing, where clients pay a premium for a Red Team but receive a vulnerability scan or a fully automated penetration test.

Our Approach

Determined to change this, they set out to build a force multiplier for security teams. What began in offensive security has grown into a platform spanning wireless and counter-surveillance, secure compute, incident response, and protective operations, tools that don't just find risk, but help keep people and organizations safe. We field our own work, too: our sister company, Mayweather Group, runs these tools on live engagements, so what we ship is what we would trust in the field, not just what sells.

Meet our founders

The team behind VTEM Labs, combining decades of offensive security expertise with an engineer's mindset.

Travis Weathers

Co-Founder, CEO

Travis Weathers is Co-Founder and CEO of VTEM Labs and co-owner of Mayweather Group, a U.S. Army and Joint Special Operations veteran with more than two decades across physical security, offensive cyber operations, executive protection, and adversarial simulation. He has personally led and executed hundreds of covert facility breaches against Fortune 100 organizations and is regarded as a subject-matter authority in RFID cloning, access control bypass, electronic defeat, and advanced physical exploitation.

Ralph May

Co-Founder, CTO

Ralph May is Co-Founder and CTO of VTEM Labs and co-owner of Mayweather Group, a U.S. Army veteran and former Department of Defense contractor who supported United States Special Operations Command on information security, threat actor simulation, and mission-focused technology. He is a recognized expert in network, physical, and wireless penetration testing, and in the design, deployment, and assessment of IT and surveillance systems where they intersect physical security.

Depth across the security spectrum

From offensive testing to counter-surveillance, secure compute, and protective operations, deep expertise across the full security spectrum.

Offensive Security

Penetration testing and red-team tooling that surfaces real exposures, not just scan output.

Wireless & RF Security

Assessment and situational awareness across 802.11, Bluetooth, and wideband software-defined radio.

Counter-Surveillance & TSCM

Protecting people and facilities from surveillance, tracking, and rogue emitters.

Secure Compute

Hardened, denied-space compute and secure egress for teams in contested environments.

Incident Response

Remote access and operations built for engagements, retainers, and rapid response.

Hardware & Firmware

Purpose-built devices and embedded systems, engineered in-house.

Automation & AI

Orchestration and LLMs that accelerate assessment, analysis, and reporting.

Protective Operations

Counter-surveillance, TSCM, and secure compute for executive protection, enterprises, data centers, and government.
